Peter Schmeichel is so overrated. With headers from crosses he always let those in, but with one-on-ones he always made himself big and always seemed to save those. This weak spot was never mentioned by the media.

His fist pumping after making saves, Rudolph nose and fist pumping while at the side-line during the Denmark vs Croatia penalty shoot-out at World Cup 2018 with his son in goal made me cringe. I was glad they lost that.

Comparing him to Lev Yashin is like comparing Champagne to vomit. Pele ranked him well below Yashin in his FIFA 100 list and for all the right reasons.

What did he do after football?. He became a game show host on the Danish version of 1 vs 100. The UK version was one of those game shows shows as part of the lottery draw, while the Danish version was a stand alone show.

How the mighty have fallen and a Rag at that also.

And the only English club ever to win the domestic treble. A fact that seems to have been airbrushed from the annuls of history ..!!
 
You have to go back to August 2003 to cover a time period over which the rags have won more trophies than us, back to when they won the Community Shield in ‘03

From September 2003 until present day, both City and the rags have 22 trophies:

1_____UEFA Super Cups_____0
3_________FA Cups________2

3____Community Shields____6

And our 22 trophies in that time are far more impressive, relying less on Community Shields and Thursday Cups.
