The kit has been removed for sale from online shopThat’s not how it works. Trademarks are limited to the area you operate in.
So I could open up a company called SuperDry that makes cat litter and neither would be able to sue me because their protections are limited to fashion and brewing/drinks respectively.
The reason they’re taking action against City is because they think the club is selling clothing with SuperDry on and the clothing company’s trademark is in that category.
Even if they win the consequences would likely be just be that us fans get to buy training kit etc without the sponsor. The players would still wear the Asahi sponsored kit.
I know you did :-) Just pulling your leg!Sorry mate,I meant for City.Looks decent though doesn't he?
Good assist for first goal Can he do it on a cold wet night in Stoke?
Still trimmer than Luke Shaw though!I know you did :-) Just pulling your leg!
Yes, good touch and finish on him. He’s carrying a bit more timber than I imagined. Shows you the power of a £5,000 suit!
And less injury prone!Still trimmer than Luke Shaw though!
Why're they suing City & not Asahi? What's it gotta do with us if they call their beer 'Super Dry'?
How dya get a bottle of beer & a winter coat mixed up, unless you've already drank a crate full?
Penumbra of protection. Beautiful.Superdry are in a mess financially. They're heavily indebted and the share price has plummeted. They've been selling off assets to try to improve their balance sheet.
This is the legal equivalent of a sting from a dying wasp.
Also, in 2002, Asahi filed an objection to Superdry using that name. That failed on the grounds that the brand name Asahi was used, which enabled the two brands to be distinguished. The word 'Asahi' is very prominent on the training kit, so it's hard to see how this action will succeed.
Definitely. :-)Still trimmer than Luke Shaw though!
I've been going to watch Buxton FC recently to acclimatize to the conditionsOnce we're in the National League North, we'll need him to do it on cold, wet nights in South Shields, Blyth and Chorley ;)
There was the same issue when I was working in an accounting firm and they audited two businesses which were in competition. What happened is that two different partners took the jobs and they were thoroughly independent and confidential because the partners and the audit teams, as complete professionals, would never discuss each other's jobs and ......
Nah, sorry, can't finish that with a straight face. God knows how we could get away with that shit.
See also the setting of LIBOR.It’s the same as Investment Banks… their M&A division work with specific clients and know their future plans in absolute detail - including acquisition targets but of course they wouldn’t ever pass on this info. to their proprietary traders…. As if.

Does he tracker back?Who does he play for? Sounds Russian.
