I want the worst team left in the competition at home. So hopefully United win tonight.

I would usually agree but I think we actually want the strongest (Liverpool) at home this time. Whilst they're slightly weaker (no Salah) and we're getting stronger (Doku, De Bruyne, Haaland?).

We don't want to end up drawing them in the semi final which will probably be sandwiched between 2 Champions League semi final legs against Madrid whilst they play the Dog & Duck in the Europa League.

There’s a lot to be said for this. It’s how things panned out last season - tougher ties in the early rounds then a gentle run to the final. We’ve suffered more than once by having to rotate the squad in FA Cup SF due to a tough CL game a few days earlier.

Get l'pool at home and either knock them out or get out of the competition and clear the fixture list for the games in the P.L. & C.L. Better than going through three more rounds and having to face them at Wembley with Salah back.
