Kick off time 20:00 (GMT). Live on ITV1 for those in the UK.

13 days away, so the lads can get some rest in Abu Dhabi, hopefully get a player or 2 back in that time.

I'll take us just scoring a goal.

Early news:
Son will almost certainly miss the game as he's at the Asian Cup.
Haaland, Akanji, Ederson and Stones there is no news on yet.

Ortega
Walker Dias Ake Gvardiol
Rodri Kovacic
Bernardo Foden Grealish
Alvarez

----------Ortega-----------
Akanji Dias Ake Gvardiol
------Rodri Nunes---------
Bobb-- Foden Grealish---
--------Haaland-----------

Fuck off you spurs!!!!!

25 minute loop repeat of Ricky Fucking Villa pre kick off on ITV.

Ortega will start which will help Eddie recover.

Whisper it quietly but I think we might score a goal in this one...If the referee allows it to stand is a different matter!

We're keeping cleansheets in the cup competitions so let's hope that continues. Only problem being we have to score but we're more than capable.
CTID

City/Spurs & Spurs/City have delivered some of the most memorable games in English football history, certainly in the last 50yrs. This one has the potential to be added to that list.

Wouldn't start kdb in this. He can probably influence the game more in the last 35 minutes than in the first 60, since at the start spurs will have energy to close out spaces and counter attack but as they run out of gas we can introduce Kev (Might be okay to give him his first start against burnley at home since we will likely dominate). Would be great to have Stones back in the lineup to have more composure in the buildup and prevent a basketball game. Maybe Akanji in for walker if fit. Leaning towards Grealish over Doku from the start but either is fine.

Agree with those who wouldn’t start Kev in this. His minutes will need managing and well, we know what he can do as an impact sub if needed!

Tricky line up to predict with injuries etc at the moment but I reckon we will see:

Ortega
Walker
Dias
Ake
Gvardiol
Rodri
Kovacic
Bernardo
Foden
Grealish
Alvarez

KDB, Lewis, Nunes, Bobb as bench options to turn to if required.
