It doesn’t include his time as a security consultant for the Qatari regime in the run-up to their World Cup or his stint as a member of the UEFA investigatory panel investigating City’s alleged FFP breaches.

This is difficult for the PL to achieve because in the absence of something to break the statute of limitations (fraud or deliberate concealment) they can’t go after very historic things.

There is plenty of evidence of them climbing over fences to get in, of genuine supporters unable to get in as someone else had used their ticket, thousands of printed fake tickets on social media before the game. There was a scrote dressed in a suit inside the stadium with a fake UEFA pass hanging round his neck, boasting how he’d got in etc. Meanwhile at the other end of the stadium the Real fans are all safely in their seats without any issues, wondering when the game is going to actually kick off? Why did Bingo tell them all to go even without tickets? Why did they insist on paper tickets? I was at the FA Cup semi final against them the other year, there was no space in the aisles in their end, they were crammed in. How did they all get in? They’ve got form for this.

The IC will take a dim view of the PL not being able to make out that claim which will infect the rest. Furthermore, the other matters are not even in play unless the PL can show a level of deliberate concealment to get round the statute of limitations. I think Fordham is generally very uninteresting and far too public (Companies House etc) to be prosecuted in 2024/25.

But obviously if only a tiny part of the claim is proved, the sanctions will be far less than if the sponsorship sham allegation is proved. Obviously.
