I see from the bbc a website that Mbappe spoke to City before agreeing to join Real,

I imagine it was a short conversation. “You want a £100m signing bonus and £1m a week ? No thanks, we’ll pass”

We would have been crazy not to have at least put some feelers out but yeah, I imagine it was a pretty short conversation.
 
In the same boat as a lot of people. This lad is different gravy and if we strive to consistently be the best club in the world - bringing in a lad like this and making it work so be thoroughly considered.

If Mbappe was willing to join City he'd be well aware that his playstyle would be neutered to best help the Guardiola/City machine succeed. He's so good that of course he'd be cut loose on plenty of occasions; but there would also be games where he'd be forced into other roles. He must be disciplined to best help the team win.

I take the media stuff for what it is. Media stuff. He's a young feller with the world at his fingertips being forced into making massive life decisions. Can't be easy when various important people are pulling his arm. Maybe he's fucked both PSG and Madrid over in a couple ways with his indecisiveness/whatever else but sometimes I struggle to decide what to order at McD's or whether to stop filling my petrol at 69 quid or fill it up into the 70's.

Will have to see how this plays out. Not bothered if he goes to Madrid but I wish he'd confirm a move so I can stop reading his name in every fucking transfer headline. And if not Madrid, that's a sharp looking kit below Kylian...

With the racist abuse in Spain Vincius Jr gets im surprised he hasn’t considered not going to Spain but I suppose a £1 million a week will help him get over it.
 


As others pointed out, not sure why this thread is still going on...the whole world knows he is going to Madrid. Any links between us and him is Mbappe trying to make sure Madrid gives him more money.
