All well and good in hindsight, but I think we all would have preferred him to score the 1-1 rather than the 3-1.

He will probably get a chance at Anfield and needs to bury it. One goal wins that game imo.
People have to accept he’s not the finished article yet even though his numbers suggest he is. He will miss chances, all strikers do but his self belief to keep going is why he’s special.
Imagine how many he will score once he irons out his issues.

I know he'll get pelters for his miss (rightly so), but today exemplified why he scores so many goals and why he's different.
He misses the worst of sitters - something all strikers will do from time to time - and that kind of miss would shatter the confidence of lesser mortals. But Haaland keeps working, he keeps getting into the right positions to give himself more chances, and then when the next one came placed it with the kind of confidence you'd see from somebody in top form.
He isn't phased by missing. He has absolute confidence he will get a goal, and most of the time he does, at a rate nobody else comes close to.

All round game was poor today, and I'd imagine that'll mean he'll be firing this time next week.
