I don't like this new Haaland who is overthinking and trying to be too smart with his shots. Don't get me wrong, he's still good, but I want Bundesliga Haaland back.

Even the Rags were in disbelief and thanking their lucky stars.. it was that horrific of a miss.

Absolutely shocking miss. I think he just thought it was in no matter what he did and didn't really concentrate on putting his foot on the ball correctly and got under it. I get some chances are an awkward height where its probably too low to head and quite high for the foot, but it's still harder to miss that chance.

Ah well, it happens. It won't be the last howler him and any other striker has.

The goal was a nice finish.

Not really involved that much today but that's pretty much expected for a pure striker against a team that didn't really want a game of football to break out and weren't easy to play through.

Some people think criticising him sometimes means you want him gone, we all criticised Sterling for missing sitters (yes I know Erling scores far more goals) and we should call out Erling too for missing too many chances lately, it doesn't mean he should be benched or sold, just want him to be a bit more clinical like he was in his early months here.

After last week I thought he regressed into his static play. I know he was tight marked but he could work the defenders about a bit more for me.

ETH played him and KDB pretty well. 2 defensive mids, 2 very experienced big CBs. He got boxed out really, but as ever it just opens up spaces elsewhere.

Surely we can find a coach to work on his heading. Baffling how he's so poor in the air for a big guy.

It’s an important point you make. Even when not looking at his best on the ball it shouldn’t be underestimated how important his presence is and the different issues he causes the opposition.

I used to play with a 6ft 4 centre half .He couldn't get 6 inches off the ground.
