I keep hearing United fans and the media saying that they need time and people should be patient and they should be prepared to be a proper mid table team as they rebuild, however it's the collective ego of United that lets them down every time, they still think they are a good attractive football club with their history so if they get a manager who starts to rebuild and results start to go south the pitchforks will be out again and the merry-go-round will continue, it's absolutely fantastic and fascinating to watch, a leviathan of a club slowly destroying itself from the inside out

I remember many years ago when the media in this country were discreet and very subtle with their adoration of all things rag. The favouritism was there, but it was partially hidden. But that whole pretence of impartiality came crumbling down when that cnut of a human being Martin Tyler over-enthusiastically screamed 'MARTIAL!!!!' into the mic, thus confirming what most of us had been suspecting.
Since then Sly and their ilk have made no secret of their idolatry and utter devotion to the rags - the prominence that Ratboy has risen to within the ranks of the Sly Sports (or 'Manschnited fan-club' as I prefer to call it) hierarchy is testament to that.
