I see people disheartened by the second half performance. But I take a little bit of confort that for 49 minutes, after a self inflicted goal, we withstood the anfield pressure to not concede any more, and almost even knicked it.

I think it shows how much the team has grown up and matured. 2017-2020 we panic after conceding that goal and probably give away another and throw away the game.

we only got let off through poor finishing. If that was Salah in the two positions Diaz was in we would've found ourselves 3-1 down.

When you look at our results against top 5/6 this season, there is no doubt they have either got better or that our standards have dropped a little, or both. I said before the game we had to win that to go on and win the title again and I guess I still stand by that. Other than the first 15 minutes or so, Liverpool look a good team. What they have lost in ruthlessness up front they have strengthened in midfield. I thought a draw was fair. Whilst I wouldn't have taken Kevin off and simply replaced Alvarez with Kova, I understand why Pep did it and Doku nearly won the game for us. Kevin needs to be man enough to apologise for his behaviour. He let us down.
I thought Oliver had a decent game and glad that the match wasn't decided by Pigmol.

If we get to fa cup semi final that game is pushed back, they both could’ve played Spurs before we do, the deeper we all go in all comps the swtt it as comes into it, Liverpool have not crumbled despite their injuries, if Arsenal pick up some to key players that could be telling.
Yeah, guess we’re all looking at small margins/minor gains, would definitely like to play Spurs later in the season, Liverpool have done well, obviously no CL has helped them, can’t make me mind up what result is best for us regarding Arsenal Tuesday, Pepe to kick the shit out of few will do! Porto will lose their heads if Arsenal turn it round & will take a few with em

Spot on.

More City fans on here should see that the very fact we have a chance in March to win another Treble after winning the Treble in the previous season is already incredible. Hats off to the players and the manager.

The thing is as well, the points we have dropped, have not really been down to poor performance or a drop off in effort. They have been down to piss poor luck/refereeing. I.e the november run of draws. We Have had a drop-off, but for the best part, villa aside, we managed to win those.

Very little room for error now, we need to beat Arsenal and hope the Dippers drop points at the Swamp. Personally, I think we will just come up short as those draws against Palace, Spurs and Chelsea (both home and away) will come back to haunt us.

This season has been a bit of grind hasn't it.

If any team can grind it out, it's this one though.

Big performance is needed Vs Arsenal, can shift the momentum.

I genuinely think at any other team, with any other manager, we'd have been out of this season by now and sitting on the laurels of the treble win last year.

You're not supposed to win a treble and be back in the mix 12 months later.

You're not supposed to win the CL and be in the mix 12 months later.

No one has ever won 4 english titles in a row for a reason.

We have done well to be in the position we’re in despite for me it not really clicking performance wise most of the season.

We currently have two wins (both vs United) against teams inside the top 6. That’s not good enough really for our team. Arsenal (H) Villa (H) Spurs (A) are the games we have left vs those clubs. We was unreal last season against the top clubs this year has been v poor.

How many games have we put in our very best level of performance? 1 in every 4, maybe? Even the 3-0 at the swamp; how good did we need to be, in truth. 7.5, maybe 8, out of 10. Similar with the big wins at home to Bournemouth and Fulham. Just how good were we in those games? How many 9/10 (or better) performances have we really put in? That we're still in with a shot at another treble is a remarkable testament to the players' mental fortitude, yesterday notwithstanding.
