Please correct me, but wasn't evertons the same charge and they initially got 10 reduced to 6. Why 4 for Forest? They really needed to construct a framework for the punishments before introducing this. It just seems so arbitrary.

Would it make more sense for clubs to have year ends at the end of August, so they incorporate the busiest market?

They then wouldn't be having to rush to get players out of the door early on in the window.

That's the idea, if the punishment is open-ended then you can twist it whichever way you want. It's all targeted towards us

Parry who is the dictator of the 72 clubs is ruining so many teams it's like teams are getting docked points every season! Maybe don't docked points and just stop them spending money on players plus transfer ban and ban the sale of any assets!

Feel docking points from any club just puts that club in more danger!

Everton were charged on 9 counts and they were a PL club for all three years as well
Not sure how many counts Forrest had but only one season in the PL
When the cases are considered mitigating circumstances are taken into account before punishment is awarded
It remains to be seen what the commission accepted from Forrest

Dishing out punishments to others before coming for us, that way the fans of other teams would be angry at them for not coming at us and when they eventually come at us with something silly, if/when we try to fight it, then fans and management of other teams would say "well, what about us? We took it, so what makes you think you shouldn't take it?". The bigger picture is that ALL of these stupidity is the build up to them coming at us with some silly OTT punishment.

We haven’t been accused of failing FFP, so it’s nothing to do with Everton or Forest’s decisions.

It’s just another day of saying the same things on repeat.

Nothing about our case has changed since last February, barring a “date being set”. Everything else that been reported and debated is utterly moot.

That's the point, they never really intended to punish those other team, it's similar to the creation of the FFP, use a few teams as cannon fodder just so you can get the actual target.

For the other teams, it's all just a slap on the wrist, just something to have on record that says "well, we did punish that team at some point, so now, here's YOUR punishment". That way coming at us seems more "justified"
