Are or aren't?
Aren't ops !
Are or aren't?
I’m not at all sure why, but there’s no doubt the mood music coming out of the swamp has changed. And in the spirit of brotherhood and forgiveness, I say…I'm hoping that we have enough dirt on the likes of United and every other club involved in this blatant witch hunt. Khaldoon and Pep have alluded to that in the past. Whether or not we would be prepared to go after them if we are cleared is another thing entirely (I'm not sure we will as it would appear that City prefer to do their talking on the pitch) but Khaldoon didn't mince his words in his last end of season interview.
Regarding United though, I get the distinct impression that Ratcliffe is trying to distance themselves from any possible future action by cosying up to us. While we need to be wary of his intentions, unlike the Glazers he seems to appreciate just how much power we have at our disposal and that might not be such a bad thing going forward.
Sounds legit.I spoke to soriano just before Christmas after a home game, I asked him about the charges, all he said to me was “ Don’t worry we win” and so I am clinging onto them words he told me at the moment! Although looking at his wiki he has had some controversy on a couple of occasions which worries me a little
Ah, the thread's pet rag is back.
sniggerDischarged.

Surely your legal bills to defend yourself aren't part of ffp ?
Edited :)
Could be many reasons why he may cosy up to us such as: trying to reduce consequences of fallout of united's role in forcing through these trumped up charges once we are cleared; trying to get our support for hard up taxpayers to fund a fit for purpose stadium for the rags; trying to get us to sublet the "council house" to them (the hypocritical scum if they ever try that); our help in getting rid of PSR when they are about to fall foul of them; or perhaps they have eventually realised that, if we get a serious punishment, when we are out of the PL liverpool will be in pole position to leap ahead of them in the league title list.I'm hoping that we have enough dirt on the likes of United and every other club involved in this blatant witch hunt. Last time I checked bill are not part of FFP or PSR so they can literally come out of Sheikh Mansour's back pocketI see the new thing is our 'legal bills'. It was mentioned the dick Jordan on Talkshite the other day and weirdly enough I've just had a news item pop up with some ex Everton CEO asking about how we're paying our legal bills.
It's like they have a script......

You are rather assuming most people are aware of what this is all about. But, outside football fans, nobody takes any notice of it. Jury would be fine.If the "independent panel" were a jury, they'd be dismissed because the pre-trial publicity meant a fair hearing was impossible.
Is there anyone who could come with an open mind?
Rag?? I have supported this club for over 30 years!! my very first city memory was my dad taking me to platt lane to meet the players when I was really sick as a kid! I had to go to alder hey children’s hospital for major surgery! My mums friend husband use to drive the coaches for the players in the 70’s! FinglandsAh, the thread's pet rag is back.
I can only imagine what a fucked up state we'd be in if that were the case. We’re owned by Sheikh Mansour, not Donald Trump.
The response is: The PL is in charge of the timetable. They have to issue the charges, define what they are, provide evidence to us of every charge, attend a pre trial review (I assume), answer queries arising and so on. Have they done this yet? I doubt it.A Rag said to me yesterday: “We’ll all be dead in the ground by the time your charges are resolved. Kicking it into the long grass is the perfect scenario for you lot.”
How wrong he is. I told him I don’t know a single Blue who wants this to drag on, myself included. Utterly drained by the whole thing.
Experienced ravers needed.Sounds like an eternity of terrible sex.
Didn’t CFG pay for our last case? Our lawyers were billed in the court documents as “For CFG………” iirc. There're not and also they can be funded by any means necessary so it can come straight from Mansour without any of it going on the books. The media are idiots
Everything has to go through the books as with any business, what I was talking about is, my understanding is that legal bills external to on the field matters such as players contracts, are not a part of the FFP equation, much the same as infrastructure building related legal costs aren't. I may be wrong, happy to be correctedAre you sure?
They do get included in the books, as we saw post cas. Whether they are part of the assessment though I don't really know.
The idea that we could fail P & S regs as a result a few million quids worth of legal bills shows once again how deluded Simon Jordan is.Everything has to go through the books as with any business, what I was talking about is, my understanding is that legal bills external to on the field matters such as players contracts, are not a part of the FFP equation, much the same as infrastructure building related legal costs aren't. That's true but American owners would prefer a draft system like in the NHL, NFL, NBA it spreads the talent around the franchises, makes it more "Equal" sporting wise its what they understand .and can manipulate.
