Needs someone around him to challenge for the 2nd ball too, otherwise not much point in winning the headers. It's more important that he holds the ball up and lays it off to one of ours IMO.Need Erling to be winning some aerial duels today
Always hard to work out the reason-guess City’s was Ederson being out and their 3 doubts travelling-still enough in this team to win!Arsenal now on the drift, they were 11/5 this morning now out to 13/5, City are still evens, wonder why the drift.
You didn’t tell anyone. Everyone knew he was full of shitI hate to say I told you so, but ......
Arteta is really bad at lying.
I’ve tried. I might have to go to JS Anonymous!! ;-)You need to drop your fixation with Stones. Can you do that?
Doooooomed!Won't be long before the match thread wankers get in their stride.
May the power of Christ compel you!To be or not to be…
In the match thread.
If Grealish had been fit and match sharp, I'd have used him on the left and played Foden centrally with KDB to come off the bench as they tire. Would give us a bit more energy and pace centrally and more control from the wings too. Grealish probably isn't match fit though, so can understand why he has gone with KDB centrally (probably would have done anyway!).I'd have loved to see Foden more central to use his pace/half-turn to leave that turtle Jorginho in the dust.
Not the end of the world eitherA draw no good for either side really.
It was never an option today to have him fixed in the centre. He’ll drift there though if Gvardiol is effectively our winger.I'd have loved to see Foden more central to use his pace/half-turn to leave that turtle Jorginho in the dust.
Liverpool aren’t going to drop many points. Their fixtures are easy and a draw would probably require them dropping points in 2 games with us winning every single match. That doesn’t seem likely. A draw is really bad for us. If we want the title we have to win. Nothing else is good enough. Not the end of the world either
Johnny Boulders bollocks in the 97th minute.Line up and bench looks like Pep sees this as a match to keep it controlled/tight and then to be won by an attacking sub coming on.
