I will never ever fault Kev, our GOAT, but last few weeks have looked like the beginning of the end :(

Legs look on the wane now.
 
I feel like he’s the kind of player that will have a very rapid decline. Don’t agree with those that think we’d keep him in the team and play him deeper. We need legs next to Rodri, not somebody on decline. I think one minute he’ll be here, then the next he’ll be gone.
 
Surprised he stayed on when it seemed more logical to swap Phil there.

Love the man, as he’s fucking awesome, but can he do it for full 90 against top level teams now? Willing him to continue being the monster he’s been for us for so long.
 
He will leave on his own terms and may even retire by surprise. He doesn’t need the money, he’s a big family guy, and it feels like Belgium might be calling him home.

He’s earned the right to go out on his own terms.

I hope he can get/stay fit for the rest of the season.
 
Has lost a yard this season , he doesnt run away from players anymore still a superb footballer but maybe past his peak , maybe Pep will rotate him next season to get the best out of him really thought he would come back firing on all cylinders after his long lay off but it hasnt happened

Brain is moving faster than his body. He needs to redesign his game a little bit and hopefully can.

Surprised he stayed on today, though.
 
What an amazing player KDB has been for us. He’s dragged us kicking and screaming to league titles with his virtuoso performances and for that he has legend status.
Just like Sergio, David, Vinny. But their time came. Their impact was reduced.
Kevin will know when it’s time. It’s not far away. He’s 1/2 a yard off the pace. It makes a huge difference.
I hope I’m wrong, but this season maybe his last……

Very unfair on our other players , none of them play like they couldnt give a f*ck , if you want to witness disinterest go to the Swamp and watch proper couldnt give a fuck players like Rashford and Antony.
Do you really think Pep would select a player who couldnt give a f*ck ,he gets rid of them ask Cancelo.
 
Let's at least allow him to get fully fit before deciding he's lost something or is on the decline. Shit today, should have been subbed. Needs to find a way to contribute if he's not on it otherwise he's a passenger, don't know why we didn't see him drift out to the wing for the last 10 and put some balls in. Was always going to be the one and only chance we had to created a goalscorer opportunity.

I suspect we will prioritise him being as fit as possible for the champions league games now.

They all gave a fuck I think kdb is still finding his fitness.
 
With all the injuries he’s gotten, he won’t always be amazing in every match but class is permanent. I think it’ll have to be a thing where he’s used in certain matches.

Adore him regardless. Pep will find a way. Has loads to offer. Don’t believe for a second he’s ‘done’
 
Do we think he is nursing another injury? Came back into the mix absolutely on fire and has dipped since, surely theres a fitness issue. Poor performance by his very high standards but hard to sub him when he can create match winning moments in the blink of an eye. Ohhhh kevin de bruyne
 
he came back from the long injury like no one expected but then his form slowly ended up mediocre. he has aged a lot, certainly cant play a game every 3 days which is now our schedule currently. lost a bit of pace as well imo which is normal with his age and injury records. giving him a 3 year contract extension would be crazy imo.
