Oddly enough I was thinking about that the other day; love a bargain. He has been winding down his contract and Fulham fans are resigned to him leaving. People will quickly dismiss his return (not good enough/too slow/Branthwaite’s better), but one could make a good reasonable case for him, especially in terms of his age, height, experience, and cost. People will also say that he wouldn‘t want to be rotated, which would have to be the case with us, but then the two clubs he has repeatedly been linked with are Liverpool and Spurs, and for neither of which would he be a guaranteed starter.
