PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

You’re (disingenuously, ironically) mixing up 2 separate things.

1) Should there be any financial restrictions in football?

2) Is the Premier League destroying its sporting integrity by enforcing the punishment system the clubs voted for when clubs are caught deliberately cheating?

We’re discussing 2, 1 is a completely different conversation.

Why are you describing it as cheating? They’ve supplied their accounts & admitted the breaches, I’m not sure this constitutes the ‘cheating’ term.

If any of or charges are proven , we will be labelled cheats , Everton & Forest have been banged to rights and admitted cheating but there is not one media outlet that has used that term. But they have cheated , they have cheated other clubs like Leicester , Southampton and others out of their Premier league status. The only difference is they have won f*ck all and have not knocked the red 'istree clubs off their perch ,if we had won f*ck all and were guilty of the 115 charges it wouldnt even make the headlines , the transparency of the media in this country beggars belief.

It’s not cheating, they’ve breached the regulations.

Great video @Bez.

One thing I noticed tonight with sky sports news reporting the Everton points deduction and The Monday Night Club talking about it is not one mention of City and the accusations of charges, whereas last time round when the news with Everton and Forest broke our name got tagged in with it all.

Maybe just maybe we've finally said to these mardarse outlets not to mention us.

Oh shucks I’ve been banned by the BBC, what did I say! Hypocrites, they hate us so why ban someone for saying what they really want? Smash our coach, fine, spit at our manager, fine, call us oil Arab cheating bastards, fine, encourage opponents to injure our players, fine.

but go the whole hog and be honest, they want us gone, off the map, deleted, and they play the twat card.

fuck‘em
FREE THE JAM TOMORROW ONE!!!

Deliberately breaking the rules of a competition to get an advantage is literally the definition of cheating!

Apparently Everton could get half a point back through co-operation.
Half a point?

Who the funk is making this shit up?

I find it highly suspicious that the Premier League is mirroring the rags in how they run things.
Scattergun approach.
Ridiculous statements.
Being run like a soup sandwich.

Deloony has just kind of mentioned us in not so many words but more to do with the farce of these points deductions and how nothing has been said by the Premier League to keep everyone up to date.

Tonight’s the night I get banned from the BBC have your say. But not for defending City, no I’ve gone full dipper mental Nazi, I have posted half a dozen comments demanding exactly what the public want. Blood and lots of it. City shut down, stadium burned down, players put in concentration camps, fans rounded up and murdered. Why argue with them, give them what they want, blood and guts, murder! Forget due process, the will of the people must be satisfied.
Their Have your Say should be re entitled
"Have your say as long as its pro Dippers/Rags and Anti City"
I gave up with that lot ages ago
It's ran by Ex Rags anyway

I sense a black Friday sale coming up.
Calvert Lewin might be a shrewd purchase if his collection of handbags and velvet flared trousers were also part of the deal.

Branthwaite would do

I've been banned by the BBC for a lot less than that . Surely its not unreasonable to comment on Carol Kirkwood''s tits.

When Man City were charged by the PL last year I made a conscious effort to find out more about all the allegations and media coverage that seemed to present Man City in a very negative light. Here is a video which includes some content from this very forum and from other publicly available sources. It's my summary of all the bullshit along with some facts. It may interest some of you on here. If you think it's any good, share it with friends and enemies. Let's spoil a good story with the facts.

Come on City!

If that’s not New Order (with Hooky) then it’s someone doing a pretty good impression.

Good video mate. You should cut it right down and make it pretty because it’s too long and involved for the numpties who spread lies.

I`ve been enjoying myself wonderfully for the past 5 hours on their website with all the morons repeating the same question "but what about City ?"
I`ve really enjoyed putting many of the morons in their place with my comments and touching more than a raw nerve with the thick twats.
By the way lads and lasses I hope you`ve got your maps out for next years as I`ve no idea as to how to get to Uxbridge Wanderers or St.Ives Town as thats where we`re heading. Sat Navs at the ready.

Filing their financial accounts last week, Manchester City have reiterated their complete denial stance by referencing part of their initial statement in a Companies House report.

The document reads: "On 6 February 2023, in accordance with Premier League Rule W.21.1, the Premier League referred a number of alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules by Manchester City Football Club to a Commission under Premier League Rule W3.4.

In February 2023, in response to the charges, the massive club issued a public statement that it welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.”

MEN is the source. It’s not new news obviously. We seem happy to continue to fraud companies house with our latest “made up” accounts.

They've got fuck all of substance against us, so they're shitting it because of the expected backlash from the "Whatabout City" Crew.

This is an archetypal case of "If only we could wind the clock back to 2018, & forget this ever happened"... :-)
Surely even in the legal world an investigation into what looks like 4 charges (could be wrong) and non cooperation shouldn't take what will be 6 years this Autumn and nearer to 7 to be concluded if any appeals.
Don't think it's a coincidence Masters and his cronies want this played out behind closed doors even though our friends in the media insinuate City of delaying proceedings.
Regardless of how this pans out, the clubs who get relegated will have cause for complaint, as everyone will break loose & start acting in their own self interest.

In the meantime, City are sat back munching on a bucket of popcorn, with that "We told you so" look on our faces...
Think we're all hoping Luton stay up then Masters and his cronies really will be bricking it!
