Hindsight is 20:20 I know but, wasn’t it fucking brilliant to watch both. It’s an incredibly boring day of football sadly. Liverpool will batter a very poor palace side and villa are very easy to score against away form home. Expecting two very routine wins
If we get it, we might break it :)Stay focused win our 6 games that we are more than capable of and producing history which will never be broken we can do this.
Any other feelings we should totally ignore? We won’t be top come this evening - and we will be further behind after next weekend. In fact there is a strong chance we won’t be top again until after the spurs game due to the run / timing of PL games.
We’ve got to get our heads around the fact we will be chasing for the remainder of the season and it’s out of our hands.
I just have a feeling all will be to play for come last day of the season
3 points and a 5 goal swing mate.2pts and +3GD over Dippers in a 24 hr swing!
Let’s see what Arsenal have got! Feels like it’s been their year this year, but they’ve got ALOT to play for and it was about this time last season it all went sarf!
COME ON VILLA!!
COME ON CITY!!
It’s been an absolutely brilliant day for us, but think all three teams will still drop points so not getting carried away yet. Feels like a big momentum shift in our favour though.
fixeth¡¡¡ ...Coño...!!!

True for the fans but much less so the team. Spurs players, like any professional footballers, will want to play their best and win every game. Son & co will want to beat City regardless of North London rivalries or what the result means for the league title.Going to Spurs with both teams needing to win won’t be ideal, we need that game to be a dead rubber, while also factoring that the team they hate might be top. They won’t want Arsenal to win the league.
The correct calculation is (13x9.5) minus 1 = 122.5/1 surely? (Returns 123.5, with stake).123/1 Double. Crystal Palace was 12/1 and Aston Villa was 17/2 (or 8.5/1)
So, 13 x 9.5 = 123.5
Congrats to anyone who had the bottle to bet at them odds..
Having a crowd that’s half arsed is a big factor.True for the fans but much less so the team. Spurs players, like any professional footballers, will want to play their best and win every game. Despite the fact that we have stuttered a bit this season, it is clear that they are all scared of us. That used to be true of sides visiting Anfield or OT. No longer. Ikkle Siddy is a monster.you have to love the fans and the pundits chucking in the towel already. Hopefully that attitude will rub off on their players as well
You are right, but exit from Europe takes physical pressure off them, while we have a game every other day.I honestly feel that between Liverpool and Arsenal - Liverpool have likely caved in. They have to go to Bergamo on Thursday in a home/away that is likely lost to them. No way they come back from 0-3. You could see it in the players. In Klopp. Never seen him walk out like that. Their fans were completely shattered trying to figure out what happened. Incredible scenes.
I think Arsenal also have a tough to. Now that the Bundesliga is gone, Bayern go all in on the Champions League. Arsenal have to go to the Allianz on Wednesday with lost points to think about.
At this point in the season, its about mentality. Having the psychological make-up to keep going. We have it. Liverpool I think are done. Arsenal lose to Bayern - its over. Lets keep going gents.
Gvardiol and Doku coming into their own now, at just the right time. Even Kova scored. And Jack’s back!Be an even greater achievement than last season IF we pull it off, as we seem to have a weaker squad this year.
Plenty groaning at Anfield and Emirates yesterday. Crowd nervousness spreads to the team.Having a crowd that’s half arsed is a big factor.
In the past title races, we've seen no team doing any favours even if it benefits the rivals. I can only think of Everton in 2013-14 season, and even then it was just the goal keeper only. The PL has a certain level of integrity in this regard.True for the fans but much less so the team. Spurs players, like any professional footballers, will want to play their best and win every game. I think you mean the teams involved and not the last sentence. The Premier League is totally corrupt and doesn’t have any integrity whatsoever. In the past title races, we've seen no team doing any favours even if it benefits the rivals. I can only think of Everton in 2013-14 season, and even then it was just the goal keeper only. The PL has a certain level of integrity in this regard.
