Arteta’s goal celebrations and winning antics are rubbing off on the players.

Spitty isn’t happy. But he loves a good Jurgen run down the touchline, across the pitch, and a fist pump in-front of the KOP.

Have you noticed the talk of the Liverpool‘s quadruple has suddenly gone quiet tonight.

They never learn….every time they talk about a quad it blows up in their face.

I was never worried about Arsenal last season, although I agree they are a really good team. I think they have improved this season, think they would prefer to chase then lead. However, I still consider Liverpool to be this seasons main threat. If they had won their toughest away game left without Salah it would have been HulUG

It’s hard to guess, but if they get a top class striker in, Mikel stays and Klopp leaves. There is a good chance these will 100% be our main rivals and we might be hoping for a Liverpool win in this fixture this year.

A title race with Liverpool will be tough, I’m hoping that if we can continue our run up to the Anfield game that they will drop some more points, giving us a buffer.

Tomorrow and Sat are HUGE, psychologically it would put a lot pressure on them if we win both and are on top with the same games played.

Any drop of points in those 2 games (despite Brentford being tough) will feel like a let off.

C’mon City!!
We’ve pissed away opportunities like this in the past. No excuses this time with a fully fit squad at last
They’ve opened the door for us. Time for us to boot it off its hinges

One game at a time obviously but it would be fantastic to see us top of the table come 3pm on Saturday. The only disappointment is that Liverpool's next game is a home banker against Burnley.

It would've been good to see them play another tough game when their confidence has just been knocked but they couldn't have hand picked a better team to bounce back against. Here's hoping Vinny can do us a massive favour and break scouse hearts like he did with that strike against Leicester.

March will either win us or cost us the PL title.

Villa after Arsenal as well.

It's a tough run but it comes at a point in the season when we typically start to hit our stride.

I have confidence that our players will rise to the challenge as these are the games they live for.

Arsenal were impressive last night, Liverpool just didn’t turn up.

Definitely a positive for us as others have said, but we’ve got to turn up tonight and do the business against a competent well-drilled Brentford side. We’ve got a fully fit squad so no excuses, sure Toney will cause us a few problems though but hopefully not too many.

I too think March will be make or break really, but then every game kind of is now, don’t want to be dropping points against anybody.

You might be right, but we all remember the 2 down to the deathwire title races vs liverpool where neither side blinked. So not surprisingly, we are more wary of the scousers. Also we play Arsenal at home, but have to go to Anfield where like you guys we have a goddamn catastrophic record. Finally I cant stand Liverpool - so if we dont win it, I would prefer Arsenal every day of the week and 10 times on championship sunday.
We've not lost on the last 2 visits to Anfield to be fair.

Personally I think City will win the league. Rationale is, if I looked at Liverpool's team and thought who would I take from their side to make us better then Salah, Alisson, Van Dijk and after that it's marginal. If I look at City's team and thought who from that side would make us better then it's pretty much all the players apart from Ake, Doku and Gvardiol, and even that's marginal.

Plus I'd much rather City win than Liverpool - just a lot less emotional blackmail and drama from City.

I do think when Klopp goes, Liverpool will find it tough to compete as they'll likely lose Salah too. Yes they have young kids coming through but they don't seem to have a true world beater in the ranks to come through.
