Prem league finishes may 25th next year. CL final 31st.

When's FA Cup final in 2025?

If the scenario of us getting through to the semi’s of the CL and playing on the Tuesday night first leg obviously Brighton could be brought forward to either Tuesday or Wednesday.

However I see a problem for the Forest game, it’s on Sky on the Sunday at 4:30 so would have to move. All the televised slots on Saturday have been scheduled IE: 12:30, 5:30 and 8pm. Theres one solution and that’s Brighton Tuesday and Forest Friday. I’m flying home on the Friday night so would miss the game, first one all season (at the Etihad and on TV).

What do you think?

If we play Tuesday, Forest is moved to Saturday night 17:30 Kick Off. This info is provided on the City app, not sure if it’s on the website itself.

Cheers, so the Everton v Brentford game scheduled for that slot will swap with ours or would Sky show them both?
 
Not sure why there us a lot of confusion on the two games ... it's quite simple really as follows:

IF we get through to the CL semi-finals and play the first leg away on Tuesday, then the two games would change: Brighton from Thu 8pm to Wed 8pm and Forest from Sun 4:30pm to Sat 5:30pm ...

IF our first away leg is on Wed, there will be no change in the schedule.

And yes Sky is showing both games, whichever day/time they both are put on.

IF they change, both games will change, not one.

And also IF they change, there will be a small window for supporters with tickets to get a refund on their tickets if they can't make it anymore.

If we get through we all know the first leg is away, but when will the dates come out Thursday morning ?

Last year it was about an hour after the end of the QFs ... Our and Arsenal's are the last two ties, so depending on if either of the games goes to extra time or penalties, I think we should know exactly by late night on Wednesday itself. The only thing to be confirmed is the date of the SF first leg. The time we already know will be 8pm for that, and with that announcement, the two fixtures automatically get confirmed in their current or new slots as above - so no need for PL announcement to wait for.
 
Hopefully not stupid question but, have the champions league semi dates been confirmed as Wednesday for both matches?

Disclaimer: not counting chickens on us qualifying

No. One leg will be Tuesday and the other will be the Wednesday. Don't know which way round they will be yet.

Looks like 17 May ... presumably the teams involved then have to postpone that weekend's PL game to the midweek before the PL last day on 25 May.


I hope they've left spare midweek for the semi final postponement.
