Whats the singular? Bef?

I think it depends on whether you consider beef to be a countable noun.

If it's uncountable then it's beef or beef. Like "do you want a water?" or "do you want some water?"

If it's countable then I think the singular is beef and the plural should actually be 'beeves'. But nobody ever says that.

not if you are young right now, you thick twat.
you can have several beefs with a number of other people.

Look mate, I might look like an old fucker, but I have plenty of beeves.

It would be beefs, just like the plural of reef is reefs.
