for the focs,
"having a beef with" is current youth parlance for falling out with someone...

i think it's a shame we can't all get along better on here,
especially in off-topic.
the sub-politics thread is in itself like a fucking warzone at times.

we're all blues yet some people get quite worked up with others,
really angry with people they've never even met.

i was recently told off for posting videos on a music thread.
i recently got called out quite strongly when i was only being a daft grammar wanker.

naturally, we have differing opinions,
but it seems that they cause great divides.

from my understanding of being a blue back in the day,
one of our greatest attributes was the ability and willingness to laugh at ourselves and each other.
yet some on here have become like sworn enemies.
there are occasional posts that contain genuine rage.

what happened to us?
isn't this a time to be smiling broadly at the success of our team?
why do some people get so enraged?

uh-oh,
this sounds like some sort of peace treaty thread,
actually, thinking on, maybe it is.

"i don't like the way he comes across.
he's wrong about that so i'm going to get angry with him.
let alone his political viewpoints.
i refuse to consider any empathy.
i shan't calmly discuss it with him, no, no chance, he's a ****.
i'll just insult him and henceforth think him a complete wanker!"

no wonder there's no peace on this planet,
if us blues can't even get along.

without humour we are nothing.
with hate we are even less than nothing.

I think it depends on whether you consider beef to be a countable noun.

If it's uncountable then it's beef or beef. Like "do you want a water?" or "do you want some water?"

If it's countable then I think the singular is beef and the plural should actually be 'beeves'. But nobody ever says that.

It would be beefs, just like the plural of reef is reefs.
