Not really. Pep has been quite happy to rotate the team heavily in semi finals before and Kovacic is an able deputy. The fact he's starting the likes of Rodri, KDB etc. shows he views winning this game as more of a priority than seasons past.

It's a semi final of a cup. I don't think we can afford to not play him today unless we want to make life difficult for ourselves.

Chelsea have some good ball carriers like Palmer that can waltz through a midfield if its not a strong one.
