Completely agree with you. From a former City player to look that gutted at City losing. Gone down in my estimations. Pep's rant though was fabulous and completely justified. CTID
 
As much as we didn't deserve to go put midweek, we didn't deserve to go through there. We should have got smacked 4/5-1 there and could have no complaints. Reality is that wasn't all down to fatigue and the aftermath if the Madrid game.bwe showed problems we've had all season long once more but I'm happy to write it all down to midweek and gleefully take that final spot.

Well done Pep on having a rant about that. He knows it will get mocked if he does it when we lose even though the result is irrelevant to the point, we win so he can go in on them all guns blazing. Made his point.

We will have to find a way to improve for the last few games but looking forward to yet another wembley final. Come on coventry!
 
It was a tough watch at times and we were clearly running on empty. The team, Pep and coaching staff deserve a huge amount of credit to pull that off after midweek.
I do wish we would shoot at the goal a bit more rather than just try to pass it into the net. Yet again players were spurning chances to shot first time. Added to that surely there is a set piece coach somewhere who can sort our corners out, it's madness how frequently they don't go anywhere near one of our own team.
 
Buzzing,, :) won't get a ticket for the final for myself and all my boys /grandchildren... Anyone go to any sort of fan park thing at or near the ground before?

Yep but not just playing, it was the CL against the 2nd best team in the world who we dominated, transparent agenda that Pep called out.

I’m slightly less fuming now we’re through but no way would the Red shirts get the same treatment. Anyway, now we have an extra days rest, let’s hope Pep’s training this week includes a night out at the Bamboo Club, I believe Twin Cheeks are on, here’s to the regiment.

Yeah mate would love a rock solid defence but not Peps way - when we score 3 4 or 5 it's not important we concede 1 but this season we haven't quite hit the net as in previous years
 
Big hearts and big characters today. Well done City. Another Cup Final. Doku changed the game. Ortega kept us in it.

Whilst I admire Pep's passion speaking afterwards - he was seriously venting, Shearer is right - he does play the same players game after game and could rotate a lot more. Pep won't get any sympathy. His insistence on using a small squad is always going to be a big issue when we're going deep in several competitions. Having said that, our game should have been the Sunday semi final.
 
Happy for the players and tha fans. Great result , we were lucky but who cares. Important win that will post the players morals.
