how come about a year ago Sadiq Khan said he had lost confidence in Cressida Dick and saying that she should leave was politicians meddling in politics and Tories said that was wrong but now loads of Tories are calling for Mark Rowley to be sacked and thats not the same - no sir - totally different......

When they are losing any argument. They use their media chums to drum up another dead cat.

Dick did what Patel told her to do. Because Rowley has been been filmed warning someone desperate to trigger protesters who's threatened with arrest for doing so. He's suddenly a Palestinian freedom fighter with Anti Semitic tendancies.

Trouble with that argument is those wanting Dick gone are now defending Rowley.

Does not the merits of the individuals in either case have any bearing? Or the circumstances and factors that prompt calls for resignation and/or loss of confidence?

Surely, making an informed judgement is permissible?
 
O presume these people are not the one's calling radio phone-ins complaining its now a fortnight? Or they are dead coz of delays....................

Are they complaining that they cannot book an appointment in advance because there is no need as they can book it within the day?

The **** is that deluded that she’ll convince herself, even though the only reason she got the gig is because a load of bigoted old cunts didn’t want a brown person as PM, that she deserves every penny.

I think she genuinely has no idea what contempt she’s held in by most people in this country, right across the political spectrum. I’ve not met a single person who doesn’t think she’s a fucking joke.

I wouldn't call it annoying. Annoying is spilling coffee over your jeans when you step into the car. I'd call it enraging that she's gonna be picking up the pension she is; yet another indictment of out system.

What’s changed Vic? Going off the daily posts on here from those that wanted her gone I’d say fuck all but it seems one of the Mets finest moving a Jew along has suddenly seen a change in stance?

FYI, I don’t think that Rowley should resign, ridiculous thing to ask and having listened to the clip, the officer is polite enough but the “openly Jewish” remark and threat of arrest was of course, out of order, something I’m sure he now knows.

So we agree then? Khan was right then to sack Dick and right now not to sack Rowiey?

I've been to a CND march where the police were stopping people (including me) crossing a Thames bridge to join the march and I've been at a demo with someone on a one-person counter demonstration. Who's being provocative?

Braverman has just done an interview on Radio 4 without having seen the full video.

Best have a look at the full recording of the exchange.Its on Sky and its 13 mins long. The police did everything to stop him walking through a pro palestinian march. No doubt they will replay that to him at their meeting with him later
