‘Resolve’ is unquestionably vernacular deployed by legal professionals when referring to the settlement of a case between the parties, rather than determination by a tribunal following a hearing - and whilst Masters presents as a bit of thick ****, even braindead punters can have a habit of parroting their legal representatives, if only to make themselves appear to be smarter than they are.

Putting his incoherence to the side for a minutes, is there any such mechamism on the PL process to mutually 'settle' a case once it is with the independend commission, at that stage of it.

IIRC the CAS said that if we had passed the irrefutable evidence in the uefa case to uefa instead of passing it directly to CAS, because of leaks, and suffering a fine for non-cooperation, that on receipt of said evidence, uefa would have had no option but to drop their case.
