Sky must have had the mics turned down . It sounded flat on TV but you could see the majority clapping and singing away but not coming through on the TV. Had to make do with Alan Smith droning away in his monotonous Midlands accent

Noticed that Sky didn’t have the mic cranked up for Forest’s Mull of Kintye unlike for the Dippers shite we get subjected to each time they are on.

Players looked a bit tired, probably mentally as well as physically, not surprising after playing Thursday night and so many games recently, thought we came through it well

Wasn’t there today but on the tv Forest were very very quiet, might have been Skys mics but I expected them to get behind the team much more. We sounded pretty good but without much competition so 6.5 sounds about right from a tv perspective

What disappointed me was the number of “fans” who were loudly and constantly slagging the players. In particular Kev, Jack, Doku and Kyle were getting it. I thought Jack had a bit of a stinker today but I didn’t feel the need to scream abuse at him like quite a few were.

Thankfully not near us, as Jacks dad was stood in front of us..!

I thought their fans were shite today compared to last season. Their fans in the brew tavern near the station thought they weren't at it, too nervous apparently.

...and we were far better than a 6.5/10.

I went last year and they were really loud all game, despite being outplayed (unlike today). But they had the novelty of first season in PL for a generation and wasn't so close to the end of the season, so probably not as nervy.

I listened on the radio and we didn’t seem to make much noise until we went 2 nil up. I Know it’s hard to get the songs going when Forest are singing loud and credit to all the Blues who went today.

We were okay at forest today, I'd be interested to hear how people thought we sounded on the TV.

I thought their fans were very good until we scored at which point we had a good go ourselves. Really decent for the last 20 minutes, for obvious reasons.

Maybe they manipulated the levels in part because the forest fans were making it very clear what they thought of ratboy after his recent comments.

The Gary Neville wanker chant was sung by the whole stadium, 29,000 fans on 2 separate occasions, so the chant must have been heard loud and clear on TV?! If it wasn't Sly Sports Football definitely messed with the sound.

Neville is a wanker aside. Both sets of fans were constantly singing with just a few periods of quiet. It was a really good atmosphere from both sets of fans throughout the match, including lots of banter, "cheating bastards, you know what you are....

Either the mics around the pitch weren't picking up the singing and atmosphere, or Sly Sports Football did mess with the sound.

The only abuse I heard directed at Jack from our fans was when he went down pretending to be injured instead of tracking back to help his teammates. I think Jack was superb last season but I would never defend any of our team behaving like Arsenal players. I don't think Pep was happy either.

Agreed. The stadium has been louder in the past but I thought the atmosphere in the ground was decent from both sets of fans. The best I can remember in the past was that time Goater scored twice there.
