A couple of weeks ago City had lost the summer transfer window, and that's why the title was going to be won by either Tarquins or dippers.Didn't seem to be an issue a couple of weeks ago when we were in third place. Liverpool get a couple of shit results (neither against city) and all of a sudden it's uncompetitive.
A few years ago were were getting told that we have to achieve back to back titles to be great. Now we are possibly doing four in a row it's a bad thing? Not sure why four is so much worse than three, but I'm guessing if Liverpool in the 70s or utd in the 90s had done it then it would be ok.
2008-2012 we had all the 'money can't buy success' shit, and now we've apparently bought success - for around the same price the rags have paid for failure.
All just bollocks spouted by red glory hunters to cope with their grief.
Great point. All you ever hear about Wrexham is what a Hollywood story it is. And how it’s been fantastic for the fans and the town and football in general. Our story on the other hand has been met with pure hatred and jealousy for well over a decade! Maybe if our owners were Hollywood actors and white we’d be treated differently who knows eh?If the any of the cartel clubs had achieved what we have, and were on the brink of an historic four PL titles in a row, they'd declare a bank holiday.
From our low starting base in 2008, and against the established cartel, it is a truly remarkable story of sporting renaissance that should be celebrated.
Wrexham anyone ??
Manchester thanks you Sheikh Mansour.
DELICIOUS !!
If Wrexham were stopping united, liverpool and arsenal from winning titles it would be a very different narrative.Great point. All you ever hear about Wrexham is what a Hollywood story it is.
