The Co-op Live Arena

Your Bro, might want to engage his shit hot brain a bit more, there will be zero air con units up in the air above, think about it, why would they put anything that would need constant maintenance high above? Bit of a clue....they wouldn't.
It's already been said it was a funnel that fell off, all that would be above would be ducting with funnels on to blow the air around the place, sounds to me like a cover fell off and they have used it as an excuse to get the place finished properly
Yeah but this bloke off a footy forum's brother who's shit hot with stuff said so, therefore it must be true.

I did wonder why Everton aren’t moving into their new stadium as soon as it’s finished given their financial situation. Looking at this mess I now understand.

Didn't actually say was in the ceiling, he only commented on what he saw in a report which included something to do with air con.
There's clearly been too many short cuts taken even for an engineering bird brain such as your truly ;)

So much coverage on the ongoing issues with the venue. And plenty make sure they name our owners as being involved!

One of those things that will all be forgotten once it opens successfully, and it will then get the positive coverage it deserves I'm sure.

From a construction perspective it's been piss poor and I'm quite surprised considering the money behind it and who has been involved.

Hopefully some laser guided PR and a new opening (with new announcements) will emerge as I don't think this opening could've gone much worse (save for actual injuries from falling rigs/gear....).

Welcome to the wonderful world of construction.

Pre COVID prices , post Brexit issues , weak pound making the dollar and it’s paymasters kings of the hill .
They just won’t take no as an answer.

Fucking Shermans

Just another symptom of the shit this country has become.

No building project hitting its targets or getting anywhere near them. I think back to our South Stand expansion. It was touch and go and a little rough and ready but it got done.

I'd be shocked if the North Stand is anywhere near ready for the season after next, despite a promising start.

I work in construction so I get all of that, but regardless to miss the target date by such a distance and then still fail to deliver is ridiculous and surprising given our owners are involved and have a bit of experience in this sort of thing!

As I said though, no one will care when it finally does open. All will be forgotten and it will go on to be the venue they all expect it to be I'm sure.

That vid and comments just highlight how much people know fuck all.
It's a couple of 110 leads a missing piece of skirting and the horror of a dado end cap not fitted, Holy shit!! Knock it down quick before people get hurt

I was there that night and believe me it was a shitshow.

Rather than play it day by day they should front up and say how long the delay will be.

To redeem themselves the first gig should be a City extravaganza hosted by the hologram of Eddie Large with Curly Watts playing his guitar.

People will forget about the delays immediately.

My guess is that they don’t know how long the delay will be.
