PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Hmmm, I know it's fashionable to be Dr Anthony Clare these days, especially when someone has suffered a loss and will not listen to any reasoning.
But life throws a lot of shit (and good) at all of us. Sometimes people are just tw#ts because they choose to be and it suits them to be. He hitched himself to the anti-City stance long ago. His choice.

No idea who Dr Clare is but I just explained I have a bit more sympathy for a mad **** than a conniving ****.

Not much ;) but I’d rather see the likes of Parry get their comeuppance than this fool.

Some genius on there wants themselves, United and Arsenal to walk away from the PL and rejoin the EFL if we don’t get punished. At least there’s some common ground that we can all agree on now.

Strange isn't for a club that has fought to clear its name over decades that its happy for another innocent club to be found guilty.

I'll give it a go.

The PL has a Judicial Panel, chaired by a KC, Murray Rosen (the Arsenal season ticket holder!), made up of lawyers, accountants, judges, auditors, insolvency practitioners and the like. The Chairman chooses three from the Judicial Panel to hear disciplinary cases (including or not including himself). The three of them hear the evidence from the PL and the counter-evidence from the club and then come to a conclusion and Bob is (should be) your uncle.

Choosing the three members of the disciplinary panel happens pretty quickly after the allegations are referred by the PL to the chairman of the Judicial Panel, so it is safe to assume that has been done.

But that is all we know at the moment. We don't know who the three Disciplinary Panel members are, or where they are in their process. Hence all the rumours and guesswork :)

Hope that helps.
Sounds nice and, erm, 'independent' to me...

I do think the Jordan reversal is hyper suggestive, and the silence from other sources is strange, but it would not surprise me if Goldbridge was upset because he did not get one.
Last time I was in, Jordan told me he is writing a book on FFP and that his view has "evolved" over time. I don't think it is anything to do with letters. And to be honest had they had a letter, I suspect they would have told me because it would have been relevant to know ("if we get on to City please be careful" or whatever). Either way, Jordan's change of position is not brand new.

When were you last on?

Like Marvin Gaye and most others, I don't know what's going on but I get the feeling that there's lots of positives for us behind the scenes, presumably showing up the 'charges' for what they are. Either way, lovely to see goldbridge squirming like a **** and that is totally genuine, his body language is there for all to see. Come on City, nail these fuckers once and for all

It does when you’re quantifying how much compensation the dippers needed to pay. They clearly were guilty as they paid Compo. So why £1m as opposed to £1 or £100m?
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Liverpool weren’t a rival on the pitch at the time and City settling for £1m was perhaps because we didn’t perceive them to be a big threat. They finished something like 8th in 2012/13, whereas we finished 2nd. If it had been United employees who had done it, we’d have kicked up a lot more of a stink about it IMO. It was a serious miscalculation on City’s part as the very next season Liverpool went toe-to-toe with us for the title and have subsequently tried to ruin us in other ways.
