It’s because of the ten man defences that even the so called ’best’ teams turn up with when they play us. After expecting Wolves to deploy their usual counterattacking football, from what I saw, they seemed miles more adventurous than Arsenal or Madrid which feeds right into big Earl’s hands.I think he doesn't show up for the games against "better" opponents than we faced today. Games like today are made for him but he needs to improve his overall game for matches that are a slog where need everybody at 110%
Pity it’s all been in an empty stadium.

Wolves weren’t hungry enough to eat duran in Rio full of wild boys , pretty much invisible but the keeper had a fantastic reflex and a stand out in an ordinary world .Its a matter of feeling but the union of the snake can fuck right off.

4th goal is an absolute beauty. Pass from Ederson is superb and hardly gets a mention. Phil on half turn and then a corker of a cross field pass. Haaland with another tap in.

Would rather watch Wolves under him playing a good style of football than any of those other low block teams with 11 behind the ball (yes, that includes you Arsenal). Under title chasing pressure that was an absolutely brilliant performance. Thank God for gravity as Haaland would be in moon orbit following that jump! Big shout out to the two Croatians, Kovacic and Gvardiol, both very high class players who have settled well.
Loved that yesterday. It’s like the shackles were off and the team could attack with freedom without worrying about complete dictation of the football.
Too many times earlier this season we’d get 2-0 up and then resort to control. And that dreaded Palace game has so far come back to bite us on the arse.
But yesterday it wasn’t that, it was fun, fast, free-flowing football that was brilliant to watch. Every player was on it from the first minute and the subs were keen to make their own impact too.
Come on blues!

Nice to score a few more but they would be irrelevant.
