Jesus, if we'd been as sharp as that all over the pitch in even half to two-thirds of our matches, we would have pissed the league this season, Arsenal or no Arsenal. We played quite a lot of semi-dopey matches in the first half of the season.

Yes but I think the games we stuttered we had no Kev and Haaland. By our own high standards we've just dropped a slight bit from.last season and that's let Arsenal lead the race. If we hadn't we'd probably be at least four points clear now, as good a season as they've had.

Haaland could win us the double if he goes through one of his purple spells for the last few games.

Haaland leads the league in goals, the longest he has gone without scoring or assisting this season in all comps (in matches in which he made an appearance) is 3 games, and we’ve only lost 3 of the 19 games in which he hasn’t scored.

I think we are being a bit unfair and placing far too much pressure on him to carry the team, in a season when everyone is fatigued and struggling to maintain the incredibly high standards of last season.

I reckon this team could win the double even if Erling isn’t banging them in over the last four games of the campaign as he was tonight.

But it’ll definitely be easier if he does.
