I have no idea how old you are, but do you remember Electric fences at Chelsea? Do you remember the clamour from the Govt to bring in ID cards for football fans, have you ever stood in the Leppings lane?

We live in times that are increasingly authoritarian, with a govt that hates the working class, they despise how live and the comradeship we have and they will gladly use pitch invasions to justify the latest laws they are pushing through.

I really do believe that these continual pitch invasions will bite us big time on the arse and I get why people do it, but really please make this the last time.

I suspect you may have some views about the gentrification of football to which ‘Keep Off the Pitch’ killjoys only add. But I came across this in the loft today, and I remembered the day like it was yesterday.
