I was more querying the rags policy of buying them in the first place.
They seem to have bought a lot of players who were on the way down in their career
Some did OK but for a short time like Van Persie but the second coming of Ronaldo, ibramimovich and that Uruguayan centre forward ( name escapes me ) seemed to be based on popularity and their past exploits.
Bringing back evans smacks of desperation.

It seems they can no longer attract players in their prime. Just the ones looking for a last big pay day

Agreed. They're going to have to just anti-football shithouse their way through the Arsenal game. If they try and actually play football it'll be like when they've played Liverpool or us, they'll get torn to shreds.

It won’t make any difference. Their defence isn’t good enough to do either. I’d be surprised if Arsenal don’t win by at least 2 goals. The gulf in quality is huge. Rags should really be bottom 6 this season based on overall performances.

For sure, I am glad the United game is a pleasant bonus that makes life easier for us rather that a must lose. Shithousing anti-football with Arsenal missing some big chances (which they have in their locker) is the only quarter chance they have of getting a point based on form and coaching.

If at the sart of the season you had offered me a 'beat spurs away to seal the 4th title in a row' possibility, I would have bit your hand off.

Need to beat Fulham first, otherwise Spurs and worries around them are not that relevant.

Agree concentrate on our own game. If we win and put all thenpressure on Arsenal. Probably the first time this season they will feel it. If It gets ton70 mins and they're not ahead we will see of they can handle it.
