PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I can see a scenario where the City come out of this as clean as a whistle but give the PL a way out.

Basically the PL could withdraw the case and issue a statement saying that having now reviewed the body of evidence supplied by the club it is clear that we have complied with the rules and there is no evidence of anything to back up the charges laid against us, however this has only come to light after the club provided the documents required to undertake the investigation. While the club withheld these document on following legal advise, If the club had provided this evidence in a more timely manner then the decision to charge the club would never have been made.

As such a fine of £**** has been applied for None co-operation only, and the PL reiterate that their was no evidence of any wrongdoing other than failure to provide documentation in a timely manner.
And they all lived happily after.

Lovely! The keyboard warriors won’t understand that
It is amazing how many financial experts there is out there when the sole knowledge that they have begins and ends with 115, its impossible to even get them to understand that citys charges arent based on psr so the everton and forrest cases are completely irrelevant to them.

That fat cnut flying pig or whatever his name is being one. Absolute cockwomble of the highest order, full on west country accent and a face you'd never get bored of smashing. He's taken to smashing things up to be a bit more "intense", one of his kids came into his little bedroom during one vid. He just started berating them and slammed the door, kid was upset becasue he'd smashed her plate during his "faux rage". Guys a walking coronary waiting to happen, think I hate that twat more than Sandra (saying something I know haha).
He was actually one of the ones I was specifically thinking of when I mentioned the Goldbridge imitators. I get the act is for views but it's flat-out embarrassing.

You'd hope that him yelling at his family is part of the act but it sadly wouldn't surprise me if that wasn't the case.

And yeah - I'm from the US and no expert in British accents, but I could tell whatever his was definitely wasn't Manc.

Have you seen the guy from Korea who acts like he's having a seizure every time United concede?

Bang on mate. The Korean guy makes me laugh to be fair, proper of his nut haha.

The Etihad IPO has to be the biggest evidence that there is no concern about what is going to happen.

A billion dollar listing whilst being accused of involvement in a fraud conspiracy and opening the books to everybody etc.
It remains my main anchoring position. Silver Lake, global stock markets, auditors etc aren't seeing massive holes in the finances and being "well City needed to buy Adebayor, I'm sure that's fine". If this IPO happens, and why wouldn't it, it's as good as us in the clear in my opinion.

One of the oddities regarding City's so-called failure to co-operate, that never gets mentioned, is that much of it could be predicated on frustration due to a presumption of guilt.

Just because someone from the PL demanded paperwork that they believed would blow the case wide open, it doesn't necessarily follow that such a smoking gun exists.

To conclude that therefore, City "must be" holding back the really damning stuff, is something of a fallacy.

Now, no more than the rest of us, I don't know what City did or did not provide. Still less do I know what the PL has actually requisitioned. I can only go on what I have read but there is now a lack of confidence, coupled with an undoubted whiff of petulance, emanating from much of the reporting on this case, that kind of has me leaning towards the above scenario.

You want an example about how the media are using this for click baiting, they would say it's a newsworthy story (it is) however there is actually no news in the article just the opinion of a lawyer, they might as well say it's possible that an asteroid could land in the centre circle of the pitch, now you get thousands of Plastic Dippers and Rags reading this and going away thinking this is the truth of the matter why because they read it, never mind that it's about a range of options but they don't see that, the media have found a gold mine

Expulsion to non-league, what a crock of shite.

The letters thing was bullshit. Tolmie given incorrect information imo.
Called 606 as i want to respond to Joe the Arsenal fan who had compared City to Lance Armstrong the producer Mike told me that they had to be very careful about what is said regarding the 115 as City had been in touch to remind them He didn't say more than that or, that a letter had been received but clearly City are watching

Free speech laws just protects them from being arrested by governments.

Not to spew biased drivel against a private organisation at will.

City can ban who they want. Imo they really should start banning people and stop giving sky and others access to players unless they stop being so biased against us.
The club are contractually obliged to provide the manager and players for interviews to not do so would mean fines by the PL. The only exception was the Govern bully at Trafford who refused to speak to the BBC but they were all scared stiff of him to do anything about it

What gets me is that the the 'investigation' into took 4 years before they charged us and yet they expect us to answer them the within a few weeks.Look at Paqueta started being investigated last August for gambling irregularities and still no news if innocent or guilty,it seems they can state anything they want ,they PL are a disgrace.
