I tried to explain to a dipper that this is an old story, even showed him the original post. Explained that it was an employee from each department having some football chat amongst themselves.

Anyone who thought communication wasn’t ongoing during gardening leave or that job negotiations/offers weren’t taking place before official notification to the relevant club is far too naive to hold such a senior position.

At most it’s an opportunity to aim a small dig at the other party during arbitration, but beyond that rather insignificant.

Hard to understand why ! the only thing I can come up with is all news good or bad is good for the club, at least we are being talked about.

I don't get City's position on dealing with the media.

They've crossed the line and are way over it. Calling the achievements meaningless and worse.

But come next season the doors will be wide open for them, hospitality laid on.

I know a trainee solicitor that worked for City and he said the media department at City is very chummy with the journalists. Which is probably part of the problem, they don't want to ban friends.

Don't know if this has already been posted but that plastic scouse nobhead Jonathan Liew gets told what time it is by The Kings son.

It's OK to shout up about getting it done but, remember, these are charges, not verdicts, and if any individual has to appear in court on a charge then it is up to the accuser to prove their case, not for the accused to prove their innocence. That it is taking so long to even reach the courtroom just shows the lack of enough, if any, evidence to make any of this to stick.

Find that difficult to believe that any of the media are friends. Friends certainly wouldn’t be writing disgraceful reports about us and causing long term damage to our reputation.
