You’re right bud. I was only joshing anyway ;-)COO now CEO not a DoF
Exactly - just fcking say it - I imagine he'll get a nice leaving handshake anyway. Or would that incur extra charges?Hopefully pep announces he’s staying 3 more years asap so any potential new signings know pep is staying. This could have an impact who we are looking to bring in
I’m not 100%sold about his eye brows .Yep, only this. He turned City and Pep down previously to replace Arteta and stay at Sociedad.
Clearly a man with principles and loyalty.
For me, Alonso would be the wrong choice. He would be linked with Real every summer he was in England.
He has Madrid written all over him after Ancelotti.
I'd like Ancelotti next summer, personally. A class act.
We can all dreamHopefully pep announces he’s staying 3 more years asap so any potential new signings know pep is staying. This could have an impact who we are looking to bring in
Trick is to add one different ingredient each time if you can .Many fans feel same way - its not just due to Pep - its the fact we have won it all. If you like sausage sandwiches you dont like the 4th one as much as the first.
wouldn't we need to overhaul the squad, system ? Clearly different playstylesYep, only this. He turned City and Pep down previously to replace Arteta and stay at Sociedad.

Whole empire is build around to prevent that certain rot.We should be ok just like how we survived life post manchini ;) (your favorite manager of all time )Exactly how i read it. This whole club is built from top to bottom. There may be short transitiionary phases or managers who fail but it will be sorted accodingly. We will not do a Man United. A fish rots from the head down.
He succeeded Pep at Bayern and was a disaster. He would be too much of a culture change to follow him again.
We have had Pep in his pomp we have had the best of him, I am not convicted he will be the same man at another club, Khaldoon created the perfect storm, Ferran, Txiki and Pep all in their prime and given everything they needed.Maybe he will get a stake in NYCFC, who knows?
Pep is a child of the eighties. He loves Americana. Basketball, Golf, the ability to get lost in the Big Apple?
Some of his closest friends live there. Perhaps the pace of life and less stress in MLS suits him just fine at this stage after City.
International football is too soon for him, he needs the day-to-day interaction on the pitch.
He won't jump into the fire at another huge club right away and, if you can help out CFG and still get paid handsomely for it, then semi-retirement sounds kinda good until he's ready to go again.
People don't want to lose Pep because they are scared of what comes next?
We can't be sad when he goes, we should be happy we had him at all.
City are now a giant of the game, and will morph in to a behemoth when we beat the charges.
We cannot allow anyone to become bigger than the actual Club. United, Arsenal and Liverpool made that mistake.
City have been very successful proving life after people like Dave, Fern, Vinny, Yaya, Sergio...
It will be the same for Pep and KDB.
if you have supported us for longer than 12 years then it wont be ever so hard tbf, we have become quite spoilt but we have to remember it hasnt always been this way which makes us appreciate it all the more, lets not become entitled fuckwits like the red tops.Think some of you will quickly change your tune when we aren't winning as much when Pep leaves.
I'm certainly not bored of how we're winning. Nor do I want more jeopardy.
Will be hard to go from this period of domination to what's next.
is better to have loved and lost than to sit here quoting tennyson and trying to relate it to footballPep's departure will be felt in the same way that Alex Ferguson's was at United. Pep is so influential in the game, and his ideas pervade every single aspect of the club. Still, as a fan in my mid fifties, I had 44 years of no league wins, so in a strange way I am looking forward to witnessing how we deal with such a loss. To have what we have had - a genius who has changed the world game - has been an absolute privilege, no matter when it ends.
Pep will leave a first class side behind for the next manager to take over. We will get a top top manager in not someone being set up to make the previous manager look good. No way we will be in the mess that United were in when Ferguson leftPep's departure will be felt in the same way that Alex Ferguson's was at United. Oh I agree: I don't foresee the collapse of our project, but Pep is so unique in the world game that his loss will be felt. That doesn't mean that we will not be able to create great success, but things will be different: will the new manager want to work with such a small squad? Will he want to integrate more players from the academy? Will there be such a bond with the hierarchy? So many discoveries.Pep will leave a first class side behind for the next manager to take over. and thats what we have to combat, thats what the rags did, everything after the gpc was prefaced with he would have done that or he wouldnt have done it like that and it has absolutely destroyed them, we have to respect what he has done but also let the new guy do his thing as well.Oh I agree: I don't foresee the collapse of our project, but Pep is so unique in the world game that his loss will be felt.
