According to Nick:

1) Nick doesn't think the emails will be enough because the PL lawyers know it won't be enough.
2) UEFA aren't giving evidence to the PL lawyers.
3) Nick knows what evidence the PL lawyers have and don't have, and is concerned they won't be able to demonstrate the main charges.

Did he get challenged on why why the PL Lawyers think this is the case?

Maybe…just maybe, because there is no compelling or substantive evidence that would stand up to any reasonable scrutiny, certainly not in the face of a body if irrefutable evidence?

What I'm saying is that if the 115 charges and guilty story has reached him, an intelligent guy who works in finance and understands fraud, and its persuaded him to message about it, then it proves the story is out of control and it is causing irreparable damage

Khaldoon is a very, very serious player. Not some spiv off Bury Market.

I'm sure his English is excellent. As good as any native's. He said 'irrefutable evidence.' That's a very high bar. He could have chosen many less definite constructions, without saying: 'They've got us bang to rights, guv.'

If the police came around tonight and accused me of murdering someone, I doubt I could offer 'irrefutable evidence' that I didn't. I'm confident I could present evidence sufficient to persuade a jury that I was not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

'Irrefutable evidence' would be me saying to the police: 'An independent cameraman filmed me for every single minute of yesterday. Here's the video. Feel free to run it past your technical people.'

A very high bar indeed. And if he is exaggerating he is going to look a right cock, as well as a liar. I find it hard to believe a guy like Khaldoon would be so reckless. Especially as it's not just his reputation on the line, but that of Sheikh Mansour, and by extension that of the UAE royal family. I mean, come on. NH (rightly imo) thinks he's rehashing old news as new evidence, and thinks his interpretation of the evidence is naive at best and ludicrous at worst. He wants to know what his experience is based on the fact that the hat fella thinks the emails will be enough to secure a guilty verdict when anyone close to the case and/or familiar with how these things work are adamant they won't be.

It's ironic, though, that NH is taking umbrage with someone who is unqualified to comment on financial and legal matters, given that's been his MO for at least a decade now.
