PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I’m just checking, but we’re not alleged to have done this are we - I thought the issue was we were accused of receiving funds directly from the owner instead of the sponsor. He’s right in that if the sponsor pays us, it’s irrelevant to anyone how they themselves fund that payment and so an auditor of City couldn’t and wouldn’t care. And presumably there’s no PL or UEFA rule against it.

Am I right?

Thats exactly what UEFA alleged we did, there’s been no allegation of direct to City payments to cover the sponsors.
 
Like @KS55 I don’t do social media. I gave it up going back to the days of Facebook which I was on for a while. That’s over a decade ago I think.

So the only reason I know who Nick Harris is, is through here.

All I’ll say Nick, if you are reading this, you alone know if the allegations against yourself in here are true or not.
If they are, that is seriously deranged behaviour. You need to take a step back and do an audit on yourself.

In case you think I’m being another City CBA, I’m not. I’m being serious man. That’s not normal. Take stock of your own situation and look after your own health. This obsession is not healthy.

Some crossed wires here. There is no regulation that stops an owner from funding a sponsor. You can’t look behind that curtain.

It could be a good earner. Maybe you could do talks at supporters clubs showing power point presentations on how they are the same, then there’s substack….

He wouldn't survive, certainly from a visible point.

Silver Lake would be the likeliest buyer.

Just non-cooperation.

What we don't know is if that is because the investigation started in 2018 and the allegation is that the club never properly cooperated with the investigation, or because the club refused to hand anything over relating to periods after the leak on legal advice. My money is on the former.

But I am often wrong :)

That’s exactly what the accusation from UEFA was, disguised equity funding via (predominantly) Etihad. They never alleged there were any transactions directly from ADUG to City for it, it was alleged through the sponsors.

No interest in Twitter. The quality of the snippets we get in here confirms my opinion of it every time.
