Hobbies for the middle aged man

I quite fancy giving Paddle boarding a go.

I quite like the idea of being out on my own in the quiet with no fucker other than nature around me.
 
Had my birthday recently and the girlfriend bought me a Lego Technical set for a Vespa in City sky blue. I’d mentioned to her that I’d loved Lego as a kid and had some of the first Technical sets (a tractor and a fork lift) so she got me a set.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed putting it all together and I’m looking forward to buying another one.
If you have the patience then it’s great way to pass the time.

do it, been shooting since 92 on and off (mainly off) if you can put the time in its a very enjoyable way to escape the missus, and you'll be set when the zombies come.

Dont go the compound bow route though, training bows with wheels, telescopic sights and release aids ;)

Compound bows are great for hunting

Me and my wife tried it. Bought 2 boards and all the gear. Visions of ourselves paddling into the sunset seemed idyllic.
Reality...it was a fucking nightmare!! My balance has gone. Water is wet and cold!!! Go on a cruise.
