lf he asks for the move, bet we'd take half that for himBwahahaha. I don’t think they’ve got £125m to spend on 1 player.

His wife would like to go different World than England so why not ?Disappointed with kevs comments tbh. How much money do these guys need? He has already earned millions and millions. He along with his kids will be set for life. Just pure greed
A different world you say? Somebody really has had it with Manchester. His wife would like to go different World than England so why not ?

yeah, plenty of dodgy ass stories around that dealWasn't that how much they paid for flop felix?
Palmer will probably have more medals than PL minutes played for City. Sterling. In England
Zinchenko
Jesus
Milner
Lallana
Probably a couple of others, but they’re who sprang to mind.
Realistically, we should sell if Saudi come in with that money. I never really took it seriously as I didn’t expect Kev to be open to it. I thought he’d stay 1 more year and go to New York. But if he and his family are actually interested in it, then I think we’d be mad to not take the money. The European market outside the PL is dead, so when Saudi come in for your over 30s, it’s far too tempting. The club have a decision to make on Kev, and not an easy one.
If they get the sense that he won't be renewing again, they have to consider whether to cash in this summer.
If the MLS is his next destination then it doesn't matter - they won't pay a fee worth losing him early.
But if it's Saudi? That's probably not far off £100m you're saying no to.
I'd find that very difficult.
Agreed but I’m more concerned how much money we need to spend to get half the player and there’s no one like himRealistically, we should sell if Saudi come in with that money. All the more reason to cash in.Agreed but I’m more concerned how much money we need to spend to get half the player and there’s no one like him
300k plus a week for at least the last 5 years and he still wants more.Disappointed with kevs comments tbh. How much money do these guys need? He has already earned millions and millions. He along with his kids will be set for life. Just pure greed
I’ve learnt that we don’t need like for like replacements. We just adapt. Haaland is not like Sergio, Dias is not like Kompany, Rodri is not like Fernandinho, KDB is not like Yaya, Foden is vastly different to David Silva, Walker is not like Zabaleta, Grealish is the antithesis of what Sane was, the list goes on. So we don’t need a KDB clone either. Which is just as well, as there won’t ever be one.Agreed but I’m more concerned how much money we need to spend to get half the player and there’s no one like him
I do think San Diego is a lovely place to raise a family for a few years - great climate in a beautiful area; close to LA if you want something flashier, but a bit out of the limelight if you don’t. I know Saudi money is head turning, but most of these guys have more than they know what to do with already. I’m surprised so many of the wives would be willing to go to Saudi.Kev would be bettter suited playing in the MLS but again it still a too soon to cut him loose. Hopefully he still has the drive to play for City.
No disrespect to all the players mentioned above but kdb is in different stratosphere, he is a game changer and can grab the scruff of the neck kind of playerI’ve learnt that we don’t need like for like replacements. I agree with you BBP.All the more reason to cash in.
Foden is the main man now, so it's not like we have to go out and replace Kev like for like. But we will need to replace his goals and assists, so we'll probably need two top class players.
Whether that's this summer, next summer or later.
