yeah, still more in the Wharton playstyle and mold that McAtee is though, was more my point.

To be fair how would you actually know that? Based on all the reports he was a very hardworking player in training.

It’s not that much of a shock he decided to go to Sheffield United and play in the premier league.

Chelsea is still a decent side and has played more game time in the Premier League than Wharton.

The was the guy has taken to the PL is superb and he deserves great credit.

His career has stalled by taking a stupid second term to SUFC when the club wanted him to go to Leicester.

His first stint at Sheffield toughened him up which he needed, the second destroyed his confidence playing in a seide which was getting hammered every week.

I’ll reserve judgement until such happens. He’s currently our player and I’d be waiting to see who else comes and goes before casting any more youngsters adrift.
