It's already on their shirt, so I am confused. It won’t pass will it.
Is he talking about related sponsors with direct connection to the owners?

I'm sure he will after he leaves next June.Fuck, Pep has to write a book about his time as manager at City. What a read and best seller it would be.
Removed from where? Two very mild comments ( including “City bingo”) by me challenging Syed and Slot have been removed as they “ violate their policy” These media shills can dish it out but can’t take it.
The Syed article is racist from start to finish. It is based on a false premise that City are "run by Abu Dhabi" when the club is owned by Sheikh Mansour as a personal invesment and Silver Lake. Even by his standards it is despicable. Didn't he previously liken City fans to sewer rats?
He did. He also said that if we won at CAS he would shout about our innocence from the rooftops. Yet nearly 4 years on, we're still fucking waiting!
It's a crazy situation and when you see the exposure Etihad has received during the last decade, they must be amazed at the success of that deal.We obviously have strong links with Etihad , so why should we drop them as main sponsors ? At the end of the day , surely a club of our standing now could really boil piss and get a non related sponsorship that would blow anything out of the water ? Say for example Amazon on our shirts , or something of that ilk ? But why should we be dictated to? When Etihad is our preferred flagship sponsor ?
Long time reader....first time poster. I'm expecting to be branded a rag any moment!!! Bring it on.
It occurs to me that City and Newcastle could simply broker a mutually beneficial arrangement by which Etihad sponsor Newcastle and a Saudi equivalent sponsors City. It would boil an ocean of urine!
Etihad made 394 million last year. It’s been beneficial to us and them, now Europeans know there’s alternative airlines, kind of the WHOLE point of sponsoring. We obviously have strong links with Etihad , so why should we drop them as main sponsors ? If they did you can bet it would be untraceable.I don’t think city would be daft enough to leak any document, to anyone, ever.

Is Simon Pearce still employed? ;)I don’t think city would be daft enough to leak any document, to anyone, ever.
There's a part of me that has a strong feeling that Newcastle aren't overly keen on buddying up with City if they can avoid itLong time reader....first time poster. I'm expecting to be branded a rag any moment!!! Bring it on.

Not so sure laIf they did you can bet it would be untraceable.
is that you mrs ThatcherThey are trying a pincher movement on us, trying to find something that will stick , pity for them that we have the best chairman anywhere in the world and the best legal team , they will regret going to war with us that i am sure
Dodgy but understandable. There's a part of me that has a strong feeling that Newcastle aren't overly keen on buddying up with City if they can avoid it
I’m sure it’s that Newcastle are quite happy to sit in the background and let City take the brunt of all the stick, and if we are successful with the claim they will reap the benefits. There's a part of me that has a strong feeling that Newcastle aren't overly keen on buddying up with City if they can avoid it

Apologies if linked already but the, brief, discussion at the start of the Price of Football pod is a good analysis of what's going on. Aided by the fact Kevin Maguire had access to the 165 page doc
That was a year ago i thinkI don't want to be a party pooper but listening to that, how is this explained?
Newcastle have finalised a £25m-a-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with the leading Saudi Arabian events company Sela. The agreement will provide an early test of the Premier League’s new fair market value commercial regulations.
