Stefan is going to transfer his knowledge into “Little Simon Jordan”
All City are doing is challenging the legality of a new ruleSo now villa are considering legal action against prem league & its okay because they are only considering it where as city are doing it! Fook me I’m in the twighlight zone
Sheikh Mansour has done more for the local community in Manchester than any football club owner has done in history. That's the reality. But he will never be accepted by most people in this country's racist and xenophobic media. People can dance around the taboo subject of race and ethnicity as much as they want but most of us know that for a journalist to call our owner "charmless" is a comment that has a very bad smell about it.Charmless, charmless, has the cnut never watched Khaldoon.
Bloody hell. Souness was clairvoyant.Thought that was far fairer on RTE, than what your used to watching annd elsewhere, even if the assumption of guilt was there still due to the UEFA verdict.
Even Brian Kerr surprised me with his attitude, although I’d say the tact he took was as much to do with the points being driven by Souness and Quinn.
Because normally he’s just a smug gobshite.
A third party who is a competitor in the sponsorship market Also requiring details of deals and other bids, it sticksThe thing that gets me about these APT rules (along with the definition and the club's requirement to prove FMV, which are both on shaky ground, I would imagine) is that the PL don't just want to adjust the income if they think it is overstated (which is already fraught with difficulty), they want the club and the sponsor to alter the terms of the sponsorship contract or cancel it(!).
I can't imagine it's legal for a regulatory body to tell two independent companies which commercial contracts they can enter into, and on what terms. I find it hard to believe any tribunal will allow a third party to do that?
I may be wrong, of course, but surely not?
All of us ?The arbitrators have said we haven't done anything wrong and we can go live on an island somewhere
Good advice thanksYou’re feeling better and they are letting you out tomorrow, but don’t mix alcohol with medication ….. take them separately [emoji23]
At the time of that analysis we had been found guilty and banned for two years by UEFA.Fuck you Niall Quinn. Tarnished my arse.
Losses funded by an owner who can afford them, not loading the club with debt, isn’t allowed to spend to build to compete with the clubs that have huge debt but bigger t/oWhat's stupid about the PSR rules is that Villa, via their participation in the CL will earn significantly more revenue, probably over 25% more than the £218m they reported in 2022/23. Yet they're not allowed to spend that money because of their cumulative losses for the previous 3 years.
It's like winning the lottery or getting a decent inheritance, then being told you can't spend it because you had an overdraft 2 years ago.
Men against boys
Stefan has the air of a friendly uncle trying to explain something a bit too complicated for his toddler aged nephews to understand. He remains patient as time after time they make points that reveal their lack of understanding and so he tries to explain it again to them a little bit more slowly.
Souness lives in the South Manchester area. He knows all the North West football Club Directors and has strong links with the business community because of his extensive charity work. He knows full well what has happened to City with the smear campaign. A lot of the people involved in the dirty tricks live near him in Cheshire. It's a small clique and they use the same bars and restaurants. That's why he speaks with authority on the subject.Thought that was far fairer on RTE, than what your used to watching annd elsewhere, even if the assumption of guilt was there still due to the UEFA verdict.

Souness is more intelligent than most pundits.Bloody hell. Souness was clairvoyant.
More the air of an exasperated professor talking to a particularly thick class. Not sure “having the air of friendly uncle” would be a vibe SB would be looking to cultivate tbf mate.

And to be fair there's a huge chunk of people on here who think the whole process has been to tarnish regardless of final outcome. I think it's a fair enough point really. At the time of that analysis we had been found guilty and banned for two years by UEFA.
We hadn’t been vindicated by CAS at that stage.
So he was technically correct. It would have been how things would always have been viewed, by everyone bar ourselves.
villa have not got any debt to right off. Can't the chairman of villa right off the debt by converting the debt into shares like Steve Gibson did at Middlesbrough.
By the way ,I know nothing about finance. I read it on Teeside live on the Internet.
