I’m just gonna stick with my method for the last 5 years of hoping for an extension but expecting nothing.
And accepting anything.

No worries mate.Sorry, it wasn't a dig at you pal, but at the papers.
Nearly 8 years now (he was in place for the start of the 2026/17 season). He earn the right to leave after what he done to our club for the past six year.
I want him to stay for many years but i will not begrudge him if he decide to leave tomorrow.
You think he does it for the money? He is an absolutely astute business person and earning the kind of money which will probably be presented to him soon will be very very difficult to turn down.. imo
Whatever sheik does to woo him ,hope he doesn’t sing “ while my guitar gently weeps”According to a couple of back pages in tomorrow’s Sunday rags, we want Pep to sign a contract extension and our sheikh is planning to woo him.
I think that is a very nice view of the world but unfortunately not a true one, most peoples heart and head are driven to some extent in that way, hes on 20m a year now if he was offered ten times that he might not be money motivated but i think it would turn most peoples heads, you only have to look at the saudi league and mls to know that is the case.I don't think pep is money orientated, he has to feel it.
All the money in the world can't persuade someone if their heart and the head tell them differently.
I'm sure the media will apply outside pressure and I'm sure behind closed doors everything is kool and the gang.
As you were pep.
Pep, we love you sowe need a separate thread for songs to woo pep .
The “Pep End”If he stays obviously the money helps but there’s no way that will be the main factor in him staying. I think the two main things that will encourage him to extend will be the chance to build another young side with him given free rein to sign the players he wants. And I think they’ll be telling him they want him here when the new stand is finished and he can open it and it will be named after him. I’d love to see that
I reckon the inflated ticket prices next year has something to do with it possibly being Pep's last season.
Let's hope I'm wrong.

They're raking in the cash because they know it's going to be his last season ( his contract expires after next season if i'm right)How have you got to that conclusion mate?
Ok.You are
