435/9 now, but Kimber is still there. 29 to win.
26 apparently by Tanmay Agarwal along with 34 4s!Mental stats. It's not quite the quickest ever First Class double ton worldwide - in terms of minutes anyway - but he now has 20 sixes in this innings which I think might be a world record for a First Class match
Can't agree. An evenly contested test match is the ultimate format of the game. The T20 and regular ODI formats, I can live with. That "Hundred" bullshit can fuck off, though.Red ball cricket is so boring.
I was only kidding, love it really. Can't agree. An evenly contested test match is the ultimate format of the game. The T20 and regular ODI formats, I can live with. That "Hundred" bullshit can fuck off, though.
England squad announced for the first two tests against WI:
Ben Stokes (Durham, capt), James Anderson (Lancashire - first Test only), Gus Atkinson (Surrey), Shoaib Bashir (Somerset), Harry Brook (Yorkshire), Zak Crawley (Kent), Ben Duckett (Nottinghamshire), Dan Lawrence (Surrey), Dillon Pennington (Nottinghamshire), Ollie Pope (Surrey), Matthew Potts (Durham), Joe Root (Yorkshire), Jamie Smith (Surrey, wk), Chris Woakes (Warwickshire)
I watched for a while, he was quite belligerent. Good job too.Anyway, back to proper cricket. Another ton for Jennings today at Southport.
Has Sky quietly put the T20 blast on the back burner? It's barely featuring on their channels now. Yes; I understand that the world cup has been on. But I'm sure they could have the world cup on the "main event" channel, and the blast on the cricket channel. Look at the last three days; no WC fixture on Friday, the final was over by early evening yesterday and there's only a women's ODI game on today. Yet there hasn't been a single blast game scheduled on those days. Pity; I enjoyed the occasional blast game.
Lancs blasting through Notts who are 40/6, with Jimmy Anderson taking all 6 wickets 6-18.
Maybe not - they're now 84/9!This is where Notts last 4 wickets rattle up 150-200. 8-(
