Think a lucky side of the draw could make it seem better than it has been

Keep hearing that southgate says the players have the freedom to press, and play - errr no that needs a proper system and coaching

Again..another player interview cements that southgate must not give any input or instruction to the players to set traps
 
The red nosed Danish fella on Fox just said Bellingham has a confidence that is rare, but I'd argue that his ability to moan and throw himself to the ground is unsurpassed.

Anyhow, our Phil has way more confidence, and a better all-round game. Much better team player.
 
It’s funny how pundits still regard international football as the pinnacle whereas in reality it is so far below club football.

Keep mentioning “at this level”. Hasnt been the level since mid 90s.

Because Palmer at wingback would be a suicidal tactic, especially against Aebischer and Ndoye (who will trade sides throughout the match).

He is an out-and-out attacker, with little in the way of defensive skills (or work rate beyond the halfway line), as evidenced by his side being constantly exploited last season whilst playing with Chelsea.

He is supremely talented going forward, but a huge weakness going backward.

I would have had Palmer in over Bellingham, personally, as I think he and Phil would wreak havoc with so many defenders behind them allowing them to completely focus on attack, but we all knew Southgate was never going to drop Bellingham.
