No ‘Good’?
No ‘Good’?
Studs up and innevitable contact anywhere on the pitch would be construed as a foul. Why not in the area?
I wonder if the 'debate' between Rodri and Rice will be settled..?
Ha
Kane kicked Dumfries, the decision was laughable and the subsequent yellow card just complete embarrassment.
Major penalty decision aside, the officials gave England absolutely everything. The corner decision and the "foul" on Saka which indirectly led to the winning goal summed it all up.
not sure anything can/will happen in this final but you never knowAnything can happen in a final, but what I’ll say is that Rice was fucking abysmal tonight yet again, not just costing the goal, his general play was woeful and I’m thinking to myself thank fuck we didn’t sign him, not fit to lace Rodders boots, but I want England to win it as I’m English at the end of the day
Only Spain can shoot themeselves in the foot.Spain will be the first decent team England have played, Southgates got luck on his side.
Hes a shit manager.
Ha, you know that’s not going to happen (even though it should)
He'll get mullered...Rodri v Rice....
Kyle also. He had a very good game.Ollie named MOTM in stadium? Great goal but Manoo, Phil, Stones Take your pick
Southgate changed the system back to how he does, giving Saka licence to take the space, leaving Foden none.Because he wasn’t the best player on the pitch at that time, and hasn’t been that half.
9 possibles in total 5 England 4 SpainNot forgetting (briefly) ex blue Ferran Torres, who I had forgotten about until I saw him earlier in the tournament to be fair!
Against us maybe.Looking forward to gettting 10-20 more penalties a season in the league now that UEFA have set that precedent…
My take on the game:
1) it isnt surprising we looked better when watkins came on, he makes runs which opens up spaces for foden, palmer etc who can not only find him but drive into that space, kane doesnt occupy defenders in that way anymore.
2) why is bellingham exempt from criticism let alone substitution, watkins for kane was an obvious one but when palmer came on bellingham was markedly worse than foden and saka.
plus bellend was on a yellow card…obvious sub for me, falling over and not tracking back asideMy take on the game:

He'll end up painted into a corner. He'll get mullered...
Nothing to do with Koeman then changing it to nullify Foden?Southgate changed the system back to how he does, giving Saka licence to take the space, leaving Foden none.
We’ve been fairly shit this tournament, but is that a City thing, having watched what Pep does?
We have been very lucky in all our games this tournament, or is it taking your opportunities with the quality players you have?
