Only in England would you get the Governing body (aka rival clubs) trying to destroy their most valuable asset.
2016-17 £750 2017-18 £770 2018-19 £795 2019-20 £820 2020-21 N/A* 2021-22 £820 2022-23 £845 2023-24 £880
Obviously there are different prices for different seat and experiences but after making record profits I can't get excited for the club considering those profits aren't passed onto the fans who are just asked to pay more mate.
How much did petrol, diesel, electricity, gas, council tax, water, food go up by? What’s the average wage in Leicester, Ipswich, Brentford and Southampton? Which parts of the country regularly feature in the never ending lists of most deprived areas of the country? This years increase is 4% when inflation averaged above 10%. This compared to the average increase across the Premier league of 7.5%. The club is in 17th place in the list of the cheapest available season ticket (alongside Leicester and Ipswich) and below Brentford and Southampton.
I'm afraid they football is a business and to me City are getting the balance pretty right. As you can see from most clubs struggling to pass PSR and having to generate the odd million to pass its not a simple one either.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but he`s a fucking no nowt. Can't be true, Gary neville can't understand how our figures are more than rags and dippers
Anyway PL will now downgrade values to £2 and a packet of smarties
Can you adjust for inflation and repost?
I'd be shocked if the above doesn't represent a decrease in real terms.

Never mind, as long as you and me can afford it eh?
Great minds. Saw your post after I posted mine. And yet the pl are obsessed with trying to destroy its most valuable asset.
Sadly you may have a point.Simple answer to that one Gas, electricity, food water etc have all gone up by way more than City's season ticket prices.
I would say the average wage in Brentford is well above the average wage in Manchester and almost certainly the average wage in Southampton and Leicester is below that of Manchester (just googled it - Manchester £37k, Leicester and Southampton £32k, London £46k). The costs of watching football have become significantly below the costs of watching other entertainment like music and theatre (O2 tickets go up to £240 - which is ridiculous). On top of that the below inflation increases in City season tickets have not reduced the demand for the tickets with most games still pretty much selling out, hence the current expansions.
As i said there are 16 premier league clubs with higher season ticket prices that City so I'd say they are doing better for the fans than all but 3 other ones whilst at the same time providing better performance and entertainment than any of the others.
One thing to note on this story by the way is it is about City's BRAND being the most valuable. It is not about City making loads more money it is about the brand. Though yes with the increase in brand exposure there is the potential of making more future revenue.
There is nothing in my posts about not being bothered about the cost but I'm afraid it is just the reality of the world.
It's because we are so successful ( and growing ) that the PL and G14 clubs want to destroy us.And yet the pl are obsessed with trying to destroy its most valuable asset.
You do realize the “brand value” is a made up number and not ACTUAL money, right?I think it's excellent that City are making money hand over fist yet still putting the prices of tickets up :)
Oh well that’s ok then. See you in the “atmosphere is shit” thread as the season goes on. See if anybody puts 2 and 2 together.Simple answer to that one Gas, electricity, food water etc have all gone up by way more than City's season ticket prices.

Blame Pannik for that, and blame the red tops for him ;)I think it's excellent that City are making money hand over fist yet still putting the prices of tickets up :)
It’s like Donny van Beek being an £80m player bought by the rags for £40m and sold for 500,000 Euro. You do realize the “brand value” is a made up number and not ACTUAL money, right?
It’s like the tat you can buy online for £10, even though that is a 90% discount from its £100 “value”!!
It’s a yardstick, not cold hard readies.
Mine went up about 3%Serious q. as I honestly don`t know the answer with not being a ST Holder any longer, so how much have they increased them by this season ?
Yes I agree, Also, the comparison with concert tickets is not valid - I.e you may have to pay £240 to see s gig but that's not every week or even every month and if you can afford £240 regularly then this isn't the subject for youOh well that’s ok then. See you in the “atmosphere is shit” thread as the season goes on. See if anybody puts 2 and 2 together.
We shall have to agree to disagree on this one.
Except that was real money wasted. There’s literally only an allusion to money in the brand value sweepstakes! It’s like Donny van Beek being an £80m player bought by the rags for £40m and sold for 500,000 Euro.
