In that case it comes down to voter turnout and how many Democratic voters the Republicans can keep away from the polls or nullify via gerrymandering.
In 2020 a large majority of postal votes were by Democrat voters especially after Biden encouraged his supporters to do that rather than queue up with loads of other people to vote in person during the pandemic. In Texas Governor Greg Abbott, backed by three Trump appointed judges, ordered that there would be only one drop box for mail in ballots in each county. Harris County where Texas's largest city Houston is situated has a population of 4.7million and had just one drop box. The largest county by area is Brewster County at 6,192 square miles and that too had just one drop box.

All in an effort to swing the vote Trump's way.

Absolutely disgusting!

Someone out of nowhere slapped 850 on him as vp on Betfair a few hours ago.
They are either ITK or Mark Kelly (D-AZ) has some skeletons in his closet he/they don’t want revealed.

Dems need AZ way more than KY, and KY is a solidly Red state at the national level. Maybe they think they can do both???

For all the “strict Constitutionalists” who seem to not only love quoting the Founding Fathers, but who also believe America was, is, and always should be a Christian Nationalist haven!

Bit curious. Is Thomas Paine — a personal hero of mine, by the way, and also of Trevor Griffiths, a fine playwright (and a lifelong blue) who recently passed away — really considered to be a Founding Father? It's the first I knew of it.

This is wildly at variance with every other recent poll I've read. Reputable polls show Trump and Harris in a virtual tie, with Harris perhaps 1% ahead, well within the margin of error.

And for those who follow betting odds:

Finally, podcasts whom I trust, e.g., The Bulwark, all state that Trump is favorite to win at the present time... but now with Harris running, Democrats have a good chance.

Presumably the Washington is D.C. which may explain the numbers?
