New season. New thread.

So far the preseason isn't going particularly well results wise (but the usual preseason caveats apply).

Chelsea 2-2 Wrexham
Chelsea 1-4 Celtic

The incomings so far have been;

Drewsbury-Hall from Leicester
Tosin from Fulham
Renato Veiga from Basel
Guiu from Barcelona
Jorgensen from Villareal (almost done, will probably be announced at some point this week)

The (projected) outgoings;

Maatsen to Aston Villa
Hall to Newcastle
Hutchinson to Ipswich
Ziyech Galatasaray
Sarr to Lens
Thiago Silva to Fluminense
Lukaku to Napoli?
Gallagher to Atletico Madrid?
Chalobah to ..... ?

Also as it's customary for Chelsea, we have a new manager again. Enzo Maresca poached from Leicester (formerly of City of course).

Not sure much of a Pep disciple Enzo is. He was only at Leicester 5 minutes so it’s hard to tell.

He looks and sounds like a Pep disciple :)

Everything I have heard him say since he was announced, I could honestly close my eyes and think it's Pep saying them. The lingo, the body language etc. All the way down to his mannerism in training videos lol.

Obviously looking and sounding like Pep is a lightyears away from actually being Pep so ....

How many senior pros do you have on your books now?

Seems a little messy but can’t see you not improving on last season and would prefer to not be away to you first game given we tend to start a little under cooked.

How dare one of our players want to leave, their biggotory and fickleness is terrible, just look at the Ederson thread, a man that has literally put his body on the line for the last 7 years, a player that gets a financial offer that would change every member of his friends and family for ever more, a man that was brought up in a favela.

Baffles me mate.
These fans spouting their shite have never heard of Neil McNab or Jamie Pollock. They'll be long gone if we have a bit of a lull which will definitely happen with the changing of the guard.
